RCS Business Messaging
SMS, upgraded to an app-like experience.
Send rich cards, carousels and one-tap buttons straight to the default messages app, with your verified brand name and logo. Phones without RCS get an SMS instead.
Use cases
Messages people actually tap.
Product carousels
Show several products or offers side by side, each with its own image and buy button.
Order journeys
Order confirmation, delivery slot selection and feedback in one conversation thread.
Verified alerts
Bank and service alerts that show your verified name and logo, so customers know it's really you.
Property showcases
Project images, brochures, location and a book-a-visit button in one message.
Tickets and check-in
Boarding details, seat changes and check-in reminders with action buttons.
Surveys and ratings
One-tap ratings and suggested replies that customers answer in seconds.
Features
The richness of an app, the reach of SMS.
Verified sender
Your brand name, logo, colours and a verified badge appear at the top of every conversation.
Rich cards and carousels
Combine images, titles, descriptions and up to four buttons per card, with carousels for several offers.
Suggested actions
Buttons that open a URL, dial a number, show a location, add a calendar event or reply with one tap.
Automatic SMS fallback
SparkNow checks RCS support per number and sends a matching SMS to phones that can't receive RCS.
Two-way conversations
Customers reply in the thread, and a bot or your team can answer, like a chat.
Read and click reports
See delivered, read and button-click data, which plain SMS can't show you.
Template builder
Design cards visually and preview exactly how they'll look before you submit for approval.
RCS API
Send cards and carousels from your systems and receive replies on your webhook.
How it works
Launch RCS in four steps.
- Step 1
Create your RCS agent
Share your brand name, logo, colours and contact details for your verified business profile.
- Step 2
Get verified
We submit your agent for brand verification and operator approval.
- Step 3
Design templates
Build rich cards and carousels in the panel and get them approved.
- Step 4
Send with fallback
Launch campaigns. Phones without RCS automatically get an SMS.
Why it matters
Why brands are moving from SMS to RCS.
Plain SMS
- Text only, 160 characters per part
- Generic sender ID that customers don't recognise
- Links that look like spam
- No read or click data
RCS with SparkNow
- Images, carousels and buttons in the same inbox
- Verified brand name and logo on every message
- One-tap actions instead of typed links
- Read receipts and button-click analytics

Send a rich card with automatic fallback.
Describe the card once. SparkNow sends RCS where supported and the SMS text you provide everywhere else.

What is RCS?
RCS (Rich Communication Services) is the upgraded version of SMS. Messages arrive in the phone's default messages app but can include images, carousels, buttons and a verified business profile.
Which phones support RCS?
Most modern Android phones using Google Messages, and iPhones on iOS 18 or later where the carrier supports it. SparkNow checks each number and falls back to SMS where RCS isn't available.
Does the customer need to install anything?
No. RCS works in the messaging app that's already on the phone.
Do I still need DLT registration?
Yes, for the SMS fallback messages. Your RCS agent also goes through brand verification. We guide you through both.
How is RCS charged?
RCS is usually charged per message or per conversation, depending on the message type. Book a demo for current rates.
